Candie Payne was pretty much destined to go into music, with one brother in The Zutons and another in the (sadly) defunct band The Stands. She was born in Liverpool, but raised in NYC, then moved back to the UK for her teens. She makes stylish, jazzy "pop-noir" in the style of 60's spy movie soundtracks.
